So here it is... finally. Obviously its Willy Wonka as portrayed by Gene Wilder. The background is a mish mash of greens that I did prior to the image itself. I've decided that i have to get on the ball, because I'm supposed to be meeting a goal or something. All of you people that don't read this need to let me know what you think.

this one i just finished today. again, acrylic on canvas. i took this pic with my digital camera that i just got working so there wouldn't be a chance of messing up the texturing by laying it down to scan it. let me know.

this is my first piece of work in this style. it has been reduced from its original size of 8"x10". you could basically call it a cutout style image, acrylic on canvas. i'm looking into more smoother textures, maybe something on fiber board, the website that inspired me did it on skateboards, so a flat hard wood is the goal. i'm going to do some more different versions of this same pic, change the color schemes and maybe even some of the focus, possibly more emphasis on the eyes. let me know what you think.

so this is my first entry in this xanga site, i was inspired to create this site by my roommate bradley, and by all those out there wanting to read more into who i am. i've decided to start adding entries into my deadjournal along with this one, but i know for sure that one will be updated more often and this will be reserved for pushing my more creative ideas into the open. i don't really know all the features of xanga, but i'm hoping that i will be able to post some of my work and recieve critiques on it. i've always relied on the honesty o strangers.
